Dr Irem Tezer Ates M.D. is the Medical Science Director at NuroKor. Irem brings over 15 years of international experience in research and clinical treatments, including real world clinical experience in electrical stimulation with pain and wounds. She is also a member of the European Wound Management Association.
"As a medical doctor and researcher, I have witnessed many cases where patients were in pain and suffering and I have always thought of creative ways to help. So I am very keen to utilise and advance NuroKor’s technology to help improve the life of these patients," says Irem. "As the Medical Science Director, I aim to bridge the science and technology within NuroKor, using my clinical and research experience to date. The technology is changing and we should use it for our benefit. I want to help all patients that require assistance to enhance their quality of life and in particular, those living with diabetes and the elderly who both experience chronic pain and take lots of medication."
